I have a friend who threw up blood tonight. She is a 22 year old female and appears to be in good health.

She was eating chicken and rice which is a part of her regular diet. She stated she felt fine at first, but then she experienced pain in her abdomen.

My friend sat down and waited for the ache to go away, and when it did not go away she went to the bathroom where she threw up. She threw up 3 times. The first two times there was no blood. The third time there was blood in the vomit.

She has no known food allergies and I eat the same food as her. Her abdomen continues to ache after vomiting.

If anyone has any information please let me know. I need to know if I should take her to see a doctor.

What colour was the blood? You should go see a doctor. It is important she goes because there are loads of different things it could be that need to be checked out.
