My boyfriend and I are sexually active and use condoms as protection (I used to use the pill but am not able to any longer because of blood clots). Since discontinuing the pill I experience much longer cycles and usually a brown discharge the morning before I begin my period. However, I have been experiencing this discharge for 3 days and no sign of blood. Also, the brown discharge is usually thick and is now very light. I'm wondering if this is a sign of early pregnancy and have found nothing saying this discharge could last for so long if it is an implantation bleed. Because I am no longer on the pill my periods come randomly, so it is difficult to tell if I am late or not. Please help! I'm trying to find the courage to take a test, ugh!
