Feeling Hot and Cold All the Time
I'm 27 years old and recently, I've noticed that one minute I can be feeling cold, and I'll put on some sweats, and then I'll get hot so I'll change into shorts, and I go through these changes throughout the day. Is this normal or is the weather changing? Also, last night I woke up 6 times to go to the bathroom (because I had liquids all day), and each time I got up, I noticed my clothes were soaking wet from my sweat. And I go through these temperature changes at night too. It'll be hot so I'll open my window and turn on the fan, but then I'll be cold, and I'll cover myself with my goose down blanket. Sleeping was unbearable last night.

It isn't menopause or even pre because you are way to young.

Is there any diabetes in your family ? Urinating a lot in the night is normal in some cases, but also a sign of diabetes, especially if you have been unusually thirsty throughout the day.

I would get it check out if I were you.

No diabetes in my family, but I am asian. I'm not thirsty during the day. In fact, I even hate drinking water. I do love Pepsi though. I try to stear away from coffee because I notice I urinate like every 5 minutes. I had 2 bowls of soup for dinner. I should also mention that I take birth control, and realized I missed Thursdays. My period comes every 4 months (due to the way the doctor prescribed the birth control), and noticed that I started spotting last week.

I would go in to the doctor and firstly take a prenancy test, just in case... I was like that in the early stages of pregnancy. After ruling that out, I'd have them check your hormones, it could be anything.

You should make a doctor's appointment and have them test for everything that has been suggested. Pregnancy, diabetes, thyroid (especially thyroid and diabetes) as well as estrogen levels.

It could be the thyroid. I have the same problem with being hot and cold all my life. Now, at 71, it has become unbereable. I have been given a scan with an injection of radioactive iodine (I do not know the proper name for that type of scan!! ). I am awaiting results

You are not too young to go through menopause. Young girls can actually go through menopause. It is called premature ovarian failure. Hot and cold flashes are a sign on hormone imbalance. Definitely go to your OB/GYN and have your estrogen levels tested.

Hot feeling in face [ 31 Answers ]

I was just wondering if anyone else ever has hot flushes in their face, like JUST the face, not any other part of the body. I have these quite often, to the point where I have to put a cold cloth or even ice on my face to feel better. There's no redness on my face when it happens, and no sweating....

New mains shower, reasonably new Combi-boiler, but hot-cold-hot-cold-hot-cold shower! [ 4 Answers ]

I've recently had a new bathroom put in, with a mains shower (used to be electric). But now my shower keeps running hot-cold-hot-cold every minute or so. My bath tap and sink tap in the bathroom are running fine, it's just the shower. I was told this shouldn't happen as I have a combi-boiler but...

Hot or Cold? [ 3 Answers ]

The above was a PM I got from Master Sergeant: I wanted to post it here in case any of you had the same question. Cold is used for acute injury (acute meaning sudden injury) such as a sprain or swelling. It will help contract the veins and bring down swelling and pain. It should be used...
