My name is Tamanna. I'm 36 year old. When i was only 16 years old, i had an abortion in Bangladesh. I have very little memory of that painful event, however, i slightly remember, it was a tubal pregnancy/complicated one. I've done some reading on "ectopic pregnancy," and learned more. I do not have any scar on my abdomen from that surgery!! I do remember going through a surgical abortion back then. Now, my question is, "is it possible to remove a Fallopian tube during surgical abortion through vagina?! I am not sure if one of my tubes was being removed at that time. I asked my OBGY Dr. and she told me she would not be able to tell from a regular ultra-sound and has to do an invasive procedure if i was interested, but she wanted me to leave it alone unless in future i face difficulty with conceiving. Any feedback?!
