i'm currently taking doxycycline for acne and my period is about 2 weeks late..
i recently just moved from a hot country to cold country..
before i moved, i had sex with my boyfriend.. it was very brief and afterwards i gave him a blowjob so he did not ejaculate into my vagina but into my mouth..
i'm very concerned of being pregnant.. could it be possible that my period is late due to stress or usage of antibiotics?

Yes it is a possibility from stress, moving, and medication that your period is late. However anytime the penis enters the vagina pre can cause a pregnancy. I would get a home pregnancy test and test your first morning urnie.

This medication can delay your period, however the fact that you had sex could possibly mean that you are pregnant. The withdrawl method is not an effective method of birth control. Pre-ejaculate (which he releases during sex, and cannot feel it) has sperm in it. A low amount of sperm, but it still has it. Remember, it only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg. So yes, pregnancy is a possibility.

After your period has been delayed for 2 weeks, take an HPT using your first morning urine. Or, another option is to get a blood test from your doctor. If you are pregnant, you need to know so you can start getting the proper care.

my doctor has prescribed doxycycline for my acne.. i started eating them about 2 weeks after my period ends and currently i have 1 more week dosage to go.. is it likely that i would get my period after i finish the medication or can it come anytime?

It could come at any time but must likely after you finish the meds. I would keep some protection handy just in case. Your body will have to readjust and will probably set a new schedule.

Your period depends on your hormones, so it can pretty much come whenever it wants. It could come after you are done taking the medication, but if it doesnt you will probably need to take a pregnancy test. If that comes out negative, you can talk to your doctor about what is going on.

Doxcycline is used to treat acne however you should find out for sure if you are pregnant or not first before taking anymore of this medication.

It is also used to treat UTI's, thats why it perked my interest..lol.

regarding pre ejaculation.. i read from a source that it should not contain any sprem if the guy has urinate because the pre only contains sperm from previous ejaculation.. thus, urination shd remove this?? quite confusing but what is your views...

I have been told by my doctor that pre-ejaculate does contain sperm. While it is a small amount of sperm, it is definitely enough to get you pregnant, because like I said, it only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg. You should always take the proper precautions when you are sexually active. If you dont want to be a mother, use birth control, because the withdrawl method is not very effective.
