I took my first Pap smear last year November 14 2006 and my doctor told me that I have a Cervisitis because of the pap smear test. He checked me twice to make it sure, then finally the result was Normal and I merely have a Infection. He don't give me any medication to treat that infection and I don't even know what kind of Infection I have today. Sofar, I have this yellowish discharge and I'm getting worried that I might have STD or any kind of infection. Please, let me know if I need to check up right away..

Dharlene, I have moved your post to it's own thread. It is better this way so that you can get answers to your own question, rather than trailing on someone else's thread.

Now, Cervixitis is simply and inflammation of the cervix. Many times it is a viral infection which means that there are no medications that can cure it, it just must go away on its own.

You are worried about STDs. Are you having casual sex with partners and not protecting yourself?

I would suggest going back to the doctor about this discharge. It could be a number of things, but only the doctor can give you a definate answer.
