ok, this is a little drawn out, but here it is.... I am on the Nuva ring(love it) have been for about 3 yrs. I took it out on 9/2 and should have put a new one in on 9/9, I forgot to get it and figured since I had an appointment with my gynecologist on 9/13(after forgetting to get a refill on 9/10 as well) that I would jsut wait and put it in that day since she givesme free samples. My fiance and I had sex 9/12, and my Dr said wait until I have another normal period before I start my Nuva ring again. Since my appointment I had brwon discharge for 3 days..which is normal after an exam, stopped for 2 days, and then it came back and its dark brown. I have had to start wearing a panty liner, I took a p-test yesterday the 24th, with negative results. What could be going on?? I kinda of think that it could just be my body not used to being off of birthcontrol?? No other signs... the only thing different is I have been getting gassy, and bloated, it comes and goes for the last 3 days.. very odd for me
