A few days ago I started feeling pain in the opening of my vagina, it was stinging. I got my boyfriend to look at it and he said there were two little cuts on the skin where the hole is. The next day we ended up having sex but it only lasted about 5 minutes because it started hurting me. After sex my vagina was hurting a lot so we looked at it again, and this time I noticed something weird. It's kind of hard to explain, the skin around the opening was all stretched and worn out looking and there was like a big bump with a hole in it like a piece of skin was missing. We waited a couple of hours later and checked again, the skin was less damaged looking and the bump with the hole looked more like a big cut. I'm assuming we made it worse by having sex that night. I never had this happen to me before. My boyfriend and I did not have rough sex and he isn't too big or anything. The only thing I can think of is that we have sex everyday, and I'm not used to that. Has this happened to anyone else? And how long until it goes away?

I swear I have the same thing I don't know what it is.. and I also had my boy friend look at it and he said it looks like a cut..! And I also do have a lot of sex with him.. and only him.. and I know he is very faithful as well..? I plan to go to the gyno but its Friday night and it opens Monday.. I am just so worried.

Having occasional small tears is not unusual and most often due to lack of lubrication. Frequent sex may not be giving your body enough time to heal. Wait a few days before you have sex again and see if that helps. You may also want to try something like KY Jelly if you feel it would be a benefit.

DoulaLC, Thank you for your advice but this actually happened back in November and I'm okay now, but now I know in case it ever happens again. It's weird though because where the tear happened there's still a weird piece of skin there, but I've been to the gynocologist since then and he didn't say anything about it so I guess it was normal.

Verna09, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just stop having sex for a few days like DoulaLC says because you will irritate it more and it's going to hurt, it needs time to heal.

Well, I have the same thing, except it never went away. The cut is healed, but the part of vagina that was torn from the labia minora, still hangs a bit and gets sensitive if I have too much sex. Does anyone else have that? It's about 1/3" in length.
