Brown Spotting

Hello,
I have a question for women who have experienced brown spotting. My Periods are on time every month and I have very heavy flow. My last period was due on March 20, 2008, instead I had some brown spotting that lasted from March 16-25, 2008. My next period is due April 13, 2008, according to my 28 day cycle. I had more brown spotting on April 5 & 6. What's going on with me? Do you think I'm pregnant? 3 neg HPT's. My boyfriend and I have used the withdrawl method for 7 years. It is now April 20 and I don't have any signals that my period is about to come on. Also I've been nauseous for about 3 1/2 weeks.

Sometimes home pregnancy tests can't be used early on. I would definitely make an appt with the OBGYN just in case. Even if you aren't pregnant, their could be something more serious going on. It doesn't sound like anything to get upset over, just talk to your doctor and she what he/she thinks.

You have been very lucky to get by for 7 years using the withdrawal method. Sperm is not present only during ejaculation -- it can also be present in precum under certain circumstances, which means it's there before intercourse even begins. See your doctor for complete testing to eliminate your concerns. Hope we'll hear from you as to the outcome. Good luck...

how do your breasts feel? would you be ok with being pregnant?

I would make an appointment with your GP (we do it different over here, you may want to see an OBGYN?) and just check that everything is ok

With my first two pregnancies, I had negative HPT's for the first 8 weeks. I even had a ob/gyn tell me that I wasn't pregnant. I'm not worried, I just like to know so that I can proceed with my prenatal care. Or if the case be something serious, I can get the correct medical tretment.

My breast feel full, not really sore. I have increased urinary output. I am nauseous, and I have been very tired lately. I have had two children and never have I experienced brown spotting before. My period is on time every month, with the exception of when I'm pregnant. I surely feel pregnant though. I would be happy if I was. My boyfriend doesn't have a problem with it either. I had a serum blood test drawn today and should have my results Friday or Monday. They drew blood because the first two times I was pregnant, the urine test weren't positive for 8 to 8 1/2 weeks. They also checked for infection and there was none. Thanks for the response

Thanks for the response. I'll let you know how the blood test goes. I didn't know I was pregnant the first two times for the first 8 to 8 1/2 weeks. Every pregnancy is different. I was sick for the first 8 months with my first child . I wasn't sick at all with my second child. I'll be happy either way.
