Brown Discharge Instead of Period
hello i'm 19 and i recently have changed from the Implanon Implant to the Patch and on saturday i took my last patch off to have my week "off" when i started my period on the correct day it was just brown discharge and it has been like that ever since my periods normally last 4 to 5 days i really worried and i have no idea what it could be?

How recently did you switch birth control methods?

This could just be your body adjusting to the new hormone levels.

It was a month ago but i had to wait til the first day of my period before i could use the patch so i had to wait about 3 weeks after i had th implant taken out

Well then, most likely your body is adjusting to the new hormone levels. I would not be concerned at this point. If you have the same problem next month then maybe a phone call to your doctor would be advisable.

But for now this is pretty normal.
