Blood Clots & DVT

I have asked alot of questions today, this is my last one for the evening.

The situation is - I am going on holiday to canada and I am on the pill microgynon 30.

Its probably going to be around a 7 hour flight, quite cramped, I know that a side effect of the pill is you being more likely to get a blod clot, and I know its more likely to get a blood clot on a flight anyway.

I want some advise to help prevent clots and dvt

does exercise help? I hear their are special socks, would they help?

I hear this can be fatal so I don't want to put myself at risk.

Sweetie, at your age this is something that is rare. Usually occurs more with smokers.

I am so happy to hear you want to be so informed about your health. This is such a pleasant change from many of the younger folks I have come into contact with.

Keep moving your feet, your legs. Get up and walk when you can. But if you don't smoke, this is actually very rare, especially at your age.
