hi again,

So i guess it is my period after all,it is day 10 now and i still didn't have the usual bleeding maybe on the way now because i am having mild crampings now.I was just wondering could all this be due to hormonal changes or something is wrong with my glands.I found a gynochologists at last but my appointment is 1month,and iam really anxious to know.
thanx

Hi again,
Actually i am 24 but i have a history in menstruation.Since three years ago my period started to last for 10days. I used to have heavy bleeding from day 7 till day 9.I went to the doctor and he said that one of my overy is bigger than normal size and he gave me treatment called yasmin and another one one i don't recall what is it.The ovary went back to normal size but still 10 days of menstruation and then he made all the hormonal test and said that everything was normal so he wanted to give pregnancy pills called DIAN34 for 3 months and it a medication that had a lot of side affects that i didn't want to go through it coz i have seen the side effects of many of my friends.I got married later on and went to another doctor. She made yltra sounds and ovaries and uretus eexamalso said everything was normalso she she wants to give another pregnancy pills for 6months to make my menstruation less than 10days.I freaked out and looked for another doctor which made test for my prolactin the max was 30 i had 29.1.She considered it high and gave DOSTINEX for a month also it turned that i have gental infections. After that i started to see bleeding from day 5 and it was 10days also.Up till now.I don't think it s normal to have 10 days menstruation and don't think preganncy pills will do anything. Now i am having hopes on the next doctor but this whole thing is giving me 24/7stress.
thanks for your help.

Well, since I don't know your age, it is very hard to tell if this is due to hormonal changes. But it is possible.

Also, stress can cause abnormal periods.

Just so you know, it is not necessary to start a new thread after each post. You can continue to answer the questions right here. Okay?

The birth control pills will help regulate your period, but chances are you won't become pregnant if that is what you are trying for.

Also, what genital infections do you have? This could be causing some problems too.

hiiii

the best thing for you to do is go to a hemeopathic doctor. i have done this and my cycle is fine now after 5yrs of irregular period. this ensures you will not have side effects and it worked miracles on me.

I think she was referring to HOMEOPATHY, which is a natural approach to health care.

A MUSHROOM infection?????

Do you mean a fungal infection? That would be a yeast infection. I have never heard of a mushroom infection. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I have just never heard of it.

If it is a yeast infection you can get over-the-counter creams for that.

Actually if it is fungus, it is yeast. Nothing like a mushroom.

Yes, it can come back. It is possible that your partner is infected with it and the two of you are pasing it back and forth.

It sounds as though you both may need to be tested for STDs.
