12 day late period negative pregnancy test

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for awhile.I am 23 years old and have not been on birth control for years. Last month (October) I started my normal 30 day cycle on the first, it lasted about 3 days then quit... I had some brownish discharge (which I read can be old blood) and the around the 15 I started having dark blood again (almost like a period but lighter and only lasted 2 days) - This has NEVER happened before...EVER
Now it is the 12 of November and I have not started my period yet..which I assumed would be due around the first of the month as normal. I took a pregnancy test on the 9th. Negative, ... I had took 2 more test prior to this date all negative...none with first morning urine. My periods are almost predictable because I start having symptoms before I start. I do not feel like I am going to start. Could I be pregnant or am I just having a messed up cycle? Any advice would be great...

Messed up cycles happen all the time.....

I need to know your age as well as if you have ever been on any form of birth control (if so, what kind and for how long).

Are you taking your HPTs using first morning urine?
