Wireless Adapter causes laptop to shut down

I am trying to network but when I plug my Netgear MA111 into my Latitude, the computer will shut down with no warning - sometimes in 30 seconds, sometimes in 20 minutes. It will happen even if I am working on another program or letting the laptop sit idle. In safe mode everything is fine and I have changed the MA111.

I am sure there is a setting I need to change but I don't know what; I find no conflicts when I check the system. I have even unplugged my modem without any change.

Thanks, CVGreg
