if I have a regular computer in one of my room but I will like to have another computer in another room, can I connect the second computer wiriless from cumputer 1

I recent connected my home alarm but I was told that I need to have it connect to my intenet line which is in one of my room of the house
but the box for my alarm is in the garage. how can I connect the alarm to my intenet with out cable running from my main box in the room. there is any wireless way to do this.
