The router comes with great instructions for the first time user. Make sure that the wireless feature is enabled on your laptop. Is there anything specific that is causing you concern?

Here's some more info. My laptop can connect to the wireless router I have at home. This is a new wireless connection for me, but it will not connect. I am able to connect to this new wireless network with my iPod Touch and iPhone.

Error message I receive says "Wireless association failed due to an unknown reason" -- not a very helpful message.
