I assume as you posted this under Wireless you mean a wi-fi connection.
Firstly does your laptop have wireless capabilities ?

If so turn it on a search for your router.
Once you find it, double click on the name and you'll, most likely, be presented with a wireless key box to enter the router access code.
This is occasionally printed on the router, otherwise you will need to access the config pages to find it.

Once you have entered the key you should then have internet access..

Of course, if your laptop doesn't have wireless then you'll need a wi-fi card.
