fixing a connection

i had a working connection to aol from my laptop,using a netgear wireless adapter. sumhow it has been messed with (prob kids) but i now cant seem to get a connection back, even when i hook up the home pc ,it just wont allow me to get online,n ive exhausted my options. when i rang the helpline they told me that the connection was workin fine so, plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, help any1

Try rebooting your Wireless router. Also try renewing you IP address.
