cant get netgearwgr614 to come on my availabenetworks

I had wireless netgear on my compaq laptop it got a virus when I had it fixed I lost my netgear connection from the available networks I'm still getting netgear on my other laptop the router is working fine but I need to know how to put wireless netgear wgr614 on my available networks
