blind to my wireless

my laptop all of a sudden said i was not connected anymore. i tried all the disconnects and no fix...laptop across from me no problem...my however does not see wireless in range...i am presently on my verizon card and am able to get on line this way...

under network connections....message reads not connected, firewalled

i appreciate any help
