Uni Student,

You erased a program that was needed to start the computer and pull windows.

If you do not know what a program is supposed to dio, DO NOT DELETE IT.

As it is now, See if you can do a start to Windows Safe mode. You do that by pressing "F8" while turning the printer on.

If you get it to power up and start Windows, go to Accessories and Under "System" go to System Restore and restore your system to the last date before you started playing with deleting files.

Thay should allow you to restart your system.

However, while you may not loses andy data files, the work you did overnight may be restored and you will have to do it again.

I don't believe that removing a program from Add/Remove would prevent your computer from booting. Good luck with Safe Mode and Restore though I doubt you will have a valid restore point on a newly installed Windows build.

If none of the above work your next best bet is to boot to the Windows CD and follow the prompts to do a Repair.
