Windows Live Messenger not idling

I have my WLM set to automatically make my status 'Away' if I don't move the mouse for 2 minutes. It's worked up until now, and for some reason it's just stopped doing it.. it's rather annoying for reasons that are irrelevant.

Anyone any ideas?

I've checked it, and the necessary boxes are all checked.

Have you tried changing the time to say 3 mins and going from there ?
Change to 3 > Apply > OK > Test then revert to 2.
I have found a similar issue with WLM and this helped.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.. will probably have to wait until later on however when the guitar gets broken out before I can test it...

A couple of things you could try.
Make sure your system is FULLY patched including checking WLM for updates.
If this doesn't help then it may be worth uninstalling cleaning the registry and then reinstalling.
A great tool fro removing Junk and cleaning your registry is CCleaner.
It's small, fast and FREE.
