Win ME error code--restarts only in safe mode--
I know I screwed up win ME-- had modem or port problems-- ende up getting windows error code when trying to start. Would only start in 'safe' mode. Might have fixed, but not sure. After 'shutting down' , instead of getting error message telling me to restart, then only able to start in safe (said windows not finished installing last time), I've got a grey colored screen, seemingly doing nothing. Is windows reloading? How long would that take? It's been around 2-2 1/2 hrs. mouse and keyboard noy affectecting it. Any help is much appreciated!
