i want to take the eventlog backup eventlog.pl

dear all

i want to take backup of event logs please tell me how the command run 'eventlog.pl' it show the following error


'eventlog.pl' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Ok, I haven't used W2K3 server myself, but I've implemented several scripts for automation on my old network and know it is a way to simplify a lot of tasks. I checked a couple of scripting sites and found one that seems to address your need specifically.

Read through these instructions and see if they help you get it going.

If not, there may be a problem with the original installation. The eventlog.pl script is part of the Resource Supplement Kit for Windows Server, so you may simply need to reinstall it and this time make sure those tools are installed, too.
