Vista OS

Hi everyone,

I purchased Vista a few weeks after it was released in the UK.

Obviously there were still bugs in the program but I am assuming that these will be rectified over the coming months and those updates will be released by MS and I will be able to download them and bring my OS up to date.

Is this correct?

Thank for any help re this.

Poseidon

Yes, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
SP1 has been released to manufacture, but it has been found to contain a problem whereby the machine will enter a reboot cycle.
This is all due to 1 fix.

poseidon agrees: Thank you for that info Curlyben. From that I am assuming any updates I bring down from the MS site will be OK and that it is just the CD containing SP1 that is at fault. Cy
