Vista and Office 2007

My husband is taking a college computer class that requires him to have Office 2007. We were looking at the price tonite at Wal-Mart and it's only like $10 less than Vista.

Does the Vista software include the programs that come with Office 2007?

Thanks.

Vista is a Operating System to run your computer

Office 2007 is a program that runs on your computer

Some stores may include Office 2007 in the package

Buy the computer and get added software FREE ???

Thanks for your response. It'd be just a tad cheaper to buy the software then a computer to get it for free. He only needs it for 8 weeks and I found a free trial online from microsoft's website, so think I'll just download it.

Thanks again.
