how do I find c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

i cant find it, and i need to. does anyone know where its located?

You can enter C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in Internet Explorer to see if the path exists. If it does but you still can't find it, go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files and folders and try again.
