Saved Passwords in the Registry in IE7

As I understand it, in Internet Explorer 7, AutoComplete information is stored in the Registry, in Encrypted Usernames and Passwords

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\Storage2

When I first checked my registry (XP Home, SP3), I only had Storage1. I added the sub-key Storage2 manually.

I have verified with a utility (PassView), that passwords and usernames are now being stored in Storage2.

3 Questions Please:

1) Before I added Storage2, where was this information being stored in the registry?

2) What is in Storage1 ?

3) Any idea why I didn't have Storage2 originally? Has anyone else seen this situation?

Thanks...
