myConfiguration files missing

My Configuration files are Missing.., I'm Running Windows XP and i'm getting ERROR, Your configuration files are missing..HELP!..Does anyone know what happen..? :

Just put the XP setup disk ON and select restore option.. or if you are conversent with XP, note down the file name and restore this file selectively from the setup disk.

This kind of problem sometimes occure if you have chosen to remove some shared system files while uninstalling some software.
