MSconfig changes in Window 7

Hi
i have window 7 test version installed
however When i tried to install Act of war: Direct action, it didn't work
and since i have herd how the game does not like more than 3 GB of rams i change the MSconfig settings and set a limit on the memory from the Advance options

after i restarted my computer
it crashed...
and i am unable to undo the msconfig changes, because i am unable to access msconfig

i have tried to boot into safemode and load msconfig, however it says i do not have the privileged to access msconfig...
i have tried the automatic repair in window 7... and it didn't work

anyother ways to undo it?

i have a lot of accessments in the C: drive which i have not backed up

any help would be appreciated

Have you tried all the versions of safemode? Like usually there is safemode, safemode with networking etc.

Or go directly into the BIOS, see if you can autodetect RAM from there.

Remember you have a test version so it probably was not made to have the RAM messed with while running.

Let me know if any of that helps... sorry to hear about the problems!
