Link between various pages created using MOSS

I intend to create portal for our entire organization using Microsoft office sharepoint server 2007, like

http://dcl or http://daffodiloffice.org/dcl
http://dsl or http://daffodiloffice.org/dsl
http://dipti or http://daffodiloffice.org/dipti etc

under that portal I intend to create department wise sub-site as much as our requirements, like

http://dcl/sales or http://daffodiloffice.org/dcl/sales

http://dcl/accounts or http://daffodiloffice.org/dcl/accounts

http://dcl/service or http://daffodiloffice.org/dcl/service etc

under that sub-site I intend to create team collaboration template to perform various type of office works using MS office suite to perform office desktop work, to perform schedule jobs, to perform group discussion etc. I also intend to activate e-mail notification for classified documents modifications.

One of our objectives is to perform the global share of some documents on which multiple members' participation is needed. Like one financial offer using MS excel, the permitted members (i.e. finance member, MD Sir etc) need to share it from anywhere anytime to put their comments and I intend to preserve it centrally for further future use without knocking anyone.

It would be highly appreciated if any one guide me step by step configuration procedure for the above. Noted that i have installed the MOSS on Windows 2003. The ISS and active directory are also installed on the server. I can create new site and team collaboration template as much as I required from default sharepoint site but when I connect to the site from different net I can logon to the site but I can't work since page can't display. I seem it miss the link of various pages.

Notable that daffodiloffice.org is a full qualified registered name and host at one ISP.

Looking forward to your kind assistance.

Sincerely
Md. Alauddin
