Windows keeps rebooting over and over

My Windows XP Pro system keeps booting up to the boot menu but no matter which selection I make - ie, normally, safe mode, safe mode with command prompt, etc, it just returns to that same menu. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you very much

Someone i know had the same problem and the only way he fixed it was to format his hdd, sorry

At what stage it gets reboot is imp. to solve this prob.. I mean are you getting windows xp welcome screen?

I'm getting windows XP powerup screen and then go straight into scandisk. Help!
