| Is your OS trying to boot at all? Did you recently put new hardware in? What did you do to it right before it refused to boot. 95% of the time its something you did to it. The other 5% of the time a really nasty virus might be the cause. Did you change something in the bios? Its kinda hard to troubleshoot you with so little info about the situation. If its not even letting the OS boot your kinda in a world of hurt. Umm... did your computer come with any recovery disks? Enable your CDrom drive to boot from cd if it already isn't (they usually are) and see if it says boot from cd at the bottom of the screen when its booting. That should be the last thing it says before it starts to load the OS. Does it say that? Either put in the recovery disc if your computer was put together by a company, or put in the origional OS disk and see if they will boot for you. If they do, from there, do what you can or post for more help. |
