Do I need to keep files in MSOCache?

Can I delete the contents of MSOCache without affecting my current configuration? I use Norton Ghost to regularly back up my system and data files. If I harm my configuration by doing something stupid, I restore the last good image and pick up where everyting use to work fine. Therefore, I wonder if I need these folder and their content for a reason that I cannot achieve with Ghost? If I can safely delete them I could recover several hundred megabytes of storage.

yes you can delete MSOcache, these casched files are used when updating or adding features to Microsoft Office applications, if you delete the msocache folder, and any changes need to be made to your Office applications, you will need to have your Office cd available
