    Disk checking
    Dear all,
Whenever my system starts up, I get this error telling "disk checking has been cancelled", while I need it to run. Every time I get this error. Furthermore, after system starts up for a few minutes the pointer will be unstable and keep cycling between "busy" and "idle" pointer styles. So running media player also becomes problematic since it starts pausing and playing continuously.

    Thank you
