locked out of my computer
I am home sick, and i cant get on my computer to do my homework. Im at my neighbors house right now, but i have essential info on my home computer. My mom keeps it locked with a password that i dont know. I was wondering if there was any way to bypass the Windows XP user login screen.

Even if there was, we are not going to tell you. That would be unethical at best.

You can't be too sick if you were able to get to a neighbor's house. The person you should be talking to is mom. She should set up a restricted account for you so you can do your homework.

It is real easy, call your mom, let her give you the password for today and she changes the password to something else tomorrow.

Just give her a call, I am sure since you are at home sick ( and should not be at your neighbors anyway) that she will be glad to give it to you.
