XP Media Edition defaults to XP Porfessional

I have a Dell XPS 400 that came with XP Media Edition. While trying to fix some other problems I tried to reload the OS from the Dell supplied disc. I wasn't successful in reloading the OS. I have fixed the original problems but now when it boots it defaults to XP Pro and won't boot unless I manually select XP Media Edition. How do I get it to default to XP Media Edition on start up?
Thanks,
Bruce

Right click on > My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Start Up and Recovery (click settings button) > Select your (preferred) default Operating System from the drop-down menu and reboot. Note: you may also want to change the timing options right below the drop-down menu as well.
