XP restore point

How can I create a separate CD/DVD to restore my windows XP with all the updates done to the OS till date?
I should be able to re-install the updated OS in case I need to upgrade my hard disk.

if you have to reinstall the OS, you can just go to Windows Update to get the latest. You can also save the downloaded updates to CD and run them from there.
