blue screen of doom

hi all i have just built a pc from scraich and i am having problems with the os (WIndows XP Pro) its installs fine with new nforce drivers for the HDD but then when it asks to reboot to finish the install it just goes into a cycle of windows boot up blue screen witch i get to see for about 2 seconds then it goes back to the beginning and starts again can any one HELP!!!!!!!! please

my spec is

Asus M2N-SLI deluxe motherboard
amd athlon 64 3800+ am2 chip
OCZ 1GB (2X512mb) pc2-6400 DDR2 800 RAM
Geforce 7600GS 256 DDR2 PCI-E GPU
160GB Seagate barracude 9 SATA-2 HDD
Jeantech 600W modular ATX PSU

I recommend checking ASUS website. i recently encountered an ASUS mobo that i had to upgrade the bios before i could even begin to install windows. In addition did you install your raid software when windows asked if you had 3rd party software during intsall ?

i discoverd the answer! it was my ram windows xp just did not seem to like 1gb ram i took one sick of 512 out and it just installed fine then i put the sp2 on and put the 512 sick back in and it works fine thanks for you help anyway i hope this is help for some one else
