black screen with cursor ask

1 Answer have toahiba with windows 7 installed in it it was working just fine .i shut it normally the other day i opened it and i had black screen with movable cursor tried al ctrl and del it didnt work .tried all F8 options didnt work too i wnt to to my final step re installing windows and fromating and all my steps end upw ith this screen including the toshiba recovery dvd all end with it eventually what to do help me |

| I suspect your hard drive... Are you trying to reinstall from DVDs or recovery partition? Try setting the BIOS to default, this shouldn't make any diff but it's worth a try. Also make sure there are no devices connected to it during startup. Rather take it to a tech to have a look at it. Thx Grant | ||||
