    Hello anvvskt,

    I'm training to join the armed forces as a combat soldier. I know one or two things about losing weight quickly so here it goes.

    There's honestly no miracle drug or food to lose weight. As for the Indian drink, if you lived in india or a asian country you'd lose a serious amount of weight because of the climate but I'm guessing your from a western country like myself which is much colder.

    But to answer your question in more detail, this is what you do:

    * Stop eating rubbish
    - no junk food
    - no chocolate ( Limit to once a week )
    - no fizzy drinks of any kind
    - No pizzas or food with high calories, check the packet!

    * Eat real food
    - A lot of vedge
    - Eat meats but not red (Beef)
    - Home make your food if possible all fresh ingredients

    And if your serious about losing the weight as I am myself. Do this.

    Go running 5-6 times per week. I run 1.5miles then take a 1 minute breather and then run 1.5miles back home. The faster you run, the more intense you make it, the harder your heart beats the more calories you'll burn and thus you'll lose weight!

    Also buy two dumbells or a barbell and start doing very simple work outs with it. Not only can you lose the weight but you can add some muscle onto your body.

    With all honesty if you run 5-6 times per week, eat properly and do a strengh regime you'll get very fit very quickly.

    Good luck

    I have tried to lemonade diet- the first three days were difficult, but I stayed on it for two weeks and dropped 20 pounds. I took a break for three weeks - gained 3 pounds and then I began liquid fasting (drinking only fresh squzzed fruit juice and water), which I am still doing-and I lose between 1- pounds a day. I almost finished. I am sure that it is possible for you to lose that much weight, but it might take you a little over a month to do so

    If you don't eat solid foods then you'll burn no calories dissolving the food in your stomach and it will literally slip with your bowel. The weight you'll be losing is fat of course but more seriously muscle too, including muscle from your heart and thus increasing the chances of a heart attack.

    I would seriously research the effects of eating solely liquid diets on the internet please.

    I agree with your statement. I did about 3 months worth of debating and research before I did this. More than anything, I am doing this to tone up for summer- I am also exercising, the weight loss is a bonus.

    Running is the best solution.
    It is not only help in burning calories or weight loss but also it gives you good look all around.

    Because of fatness your belly may come out, your buttock may size big ( sorry I don't know other word), your face may look old, etc.

    While losing weight through diet food or fasting or any other method this will not help you maintain your body or give good personality.

    It just burns calories but not give you perfection.

    I would like to go with SirPeter advice.

    Think about it, because in India you may lose weight now but when you become careless about weight again you will be overweight.

    Don't count your weight only, it should match your personality.

    Good Luck.
