When I had my first girl I only gained 18 pounds, after having her, I didn't look like I was ever pregnant, got lucky..., the last three added pounds each time and the last two left me with a pouch, I swam every day, rode a bike a couple of miles every day and used weights/resistance training exercises , for 3 or 4 months and finally I saw great results... in one year, (everything came back together). Great diet and a exercise program is the key. Watch what your eating, eat natural no sugars, and sodium rich snacks. Chomp on fruits and veggies, nut and seeds, watch serving sizes, and eat alot of dairy 2-3 servings a day of lowfat, skim 1-2% milk, low fat, non fat yogurt and skim, part skim or low fat cheese. Drink lots of water instead of soda or presweetened drinks, and eat full grain products instead of flour, bread, pasta, rice and cereals. Choose lean meats. You'll be fine and congradulations!

6 weeks already! Where has the time gone? Just seemed like you made the great announcement.

Weight loss after my two were born was not too hard, but I was breastfeeding too, and I ate healthier. Like lovelesspa stated, making the healtier choices in foods, stepping up the exercise. If you cannot get to a gym, there are so many workout videos available and some of those programs on televsion - you could record the one(s) you want to watch later. At work, for breaktime, take a walk break. Bring your meals and snacks.

When I got the go-ahead to return to work, I used to make a mix of dried fruits like apricots and cranberries and unsalted nuts like almonds for my break time. Plain salads got boring fast so I would make mine at home and bring it to work. I worked at a hospital and that was actually one of the most unhealthiest cafeterias.

You'll be so busy but remember to include vitamins in your regime, to help fight stress and keep your immune system at it's peak. Take care, Sarai, and best of everything when going back to work.

NO diet pills. You are young enough and active enough that you do not need them. That Gazelle really does work! One of my neighbors got one and her boyfriend lost 10 lbs just trying to put it together! lol. But seriously, it did work for her and she said it was fairly easy to do. My nephew's gf has one too and is trying it out - they just had a baby a month ago. Wishing you the greatest success in weight loss. It don't come easy, that is for sure.

Mind that you are still very much so, in the preliminary post delivery weight battle. I've mentioned breastfeeding... but that will not happen over night. But what will and is a quick fix..... drum roll pleeeaaaaaase...... a nice sexy girdle. Make sure to get a size that you would like to be. Wear it everyday. My mother even told me to sleep in them. This might be myth, but take it from me. Stomach and love handles have disappeared quickly.

Breast feeding is great for your baby and you, Diet pills, no, their just quick fixes that you can do on your own, cheaper with just a healthy diet, Natural, lowfat, low sugar, low sodium, low calorie foods. And exercise. Trust me on this, eat whole grains like bread, rice, pasta and cereals, eat lots of fruits and veggies and lots of low calorie, low fat, non fat dairy and you'll be on you way back to your pefect body. These foods aren't "bull" they are what your body needs! After a few months you can feel good about not breast feeding, cause your baby has the antibodies to fight things, but the key now is exercise and good nutrition! No amount of girdles or tight stuff will reduce what you have, it's all in the diet and exercise.
