How to lose 20kgs in 3 months

Hi All,
I am 22, 5'3" i need to reduce 20 kgs in 3 months so that i have right weight for my height.
I will tell my dietary patterns n exercise patterns. With these patterns i have already reduced 6kgs in a month but there is no further reduction seen.

My dietary plans
NO MILK (if at all i take its a 2 spoons of milk powder in warm water tat too during my periods in the morning instead of honey )N COCONUT IN MY DIET

morning luke warm water+honey 2 spoons n lemon 1/4

breakfast after taking fruits like papaya, pineapple, pomogranate, orange, apple to 1/2 of stomach 2 idlis or 1cup upma or 2 dosa at t max(sometimes green leafy soups if i take it t amount of idli or upma or dosa will be 1) + water

at 11am butter milk 1glass or amla water 1glass

at 1.15pm lunch 1 cup of rice, 1 1/2 cups of vegetables (boiled with salt,1/2 spoon rice bran oil,3 spoons of pulses)

at 4.30pm evening an apple or 1/2 cup of sprouted green gram or 1 cup of lemon tea or 1 cup of tomoto soup water

at 7.30pm 3 chappatis with tomoto sauce(little spicy n salted)

My Exercise Patterns are
1 hr exercise 7 days a week
15 mins exercise cycling, 5 mins dumbells for hands,5 mins breathing exercise,10 mins surya namaskar, 20 mins aerobics

NOTE: I tried jogging but could'nt run after 3 mins continously. Suggest some ways for it too
As i am working I cant go for a gym(its far away) + I cannot change 7.30 chappatis n tomato sauce. Other than these 2 I am flexible. My work pattern is 12 hrs a day minimum and definite 3 hrs of travel.

During periods i can do no exercise for 7 days.

You diet/exercise regime doesnt seem to be anything recognizeable. Did you just decide on this yourelf? Some if it doesnt even sound safe. You need protein in your diet to maintain healthy muscles while losing weight. What is 'upma' and 'idli'.

From your description, you are not getting anything your body actually needs and your weight loss has been minimal.

What do you mean 'during periods I can do no exercise for seven days'.

How many calories are you consuming each day? Too little and you're going to shut down your metabolism. I've noticed you're on such a strict routine though. Along with getting the nutrition you need, I would start mixing up the exercise. If you're used to doing the same thing day in and day out, your body gets used to it and then you plateau. Try a few different things, maybe some workout videos, mix it up. Get a pilates ball. Those are my favorite. They usually come with instructions on how to do all different kinds of exercises.

Hi Tick! I had a pilates video that I loved but I can't find it. It was mostly on the floor so I didn't have to balance on my toes. I bet I wouldn't be able to do that either. LOL.

That was just it, Zoe, on the floor and balancing on toes, and finger tips by the way. Yes, quite strenuous and probably only for very young bones !

20kgs = 44 pounds. It's not healthy to lose this much weight this fast. How much do you weigh now? Your diet seems very strict, not to mention obscure. I've never heard of some of the foods you describe.

Quote:
3 spoons of pulses
How can you eat a pulse?

From the foods you describe you are getting WAY too much starch and not enough protein. Do you eat meat of any kind?

Comments on this post
ZoeMarie agrees: yes, that is unhealthy.
