| | | You know what Adam everyone wants quick results when it comes to getting their body like they want but I am glad to hear that you rethought your decision to become bulimic. Exercising and eating right is the way to go. Getting results take time and it is time you have to put in. I hate going to the gym and eating things that I don't want and mostly giving up my favorite sweets but it was a price I was willing to pay and in 2-3 months I saw my results and wents down from 182 to 156 and was contempt with it. Now I am 5 months pregnant and see my weight climbing back up but not a much because I still exercise and eat right. Just keep in mind change is a gradual step and if possible join a gym because no matter want you do at home you need some type of strength traing besides aerobic exercise. Strength training help tone your body and turn the fat into muscle and aerobic exercise help burn the fat and is good for your heart and lungs but when you do both forms of exercise you be surprise with your results. Oh yeah and don't forgot a good diet. Good Luck! | | | | Ultra Member | |

You find something that comforts you, makes you feel better. Puking after eating, or working out. You vomit and you feel skinnier, you feel prettier. This can easily become addictive. So, the assumption that you will be able to stop when it's "enough" isn't necesarily reality. I've seen it happen.
There are small changes that you can make to lose weight. What is your goal weight? Or perhaps goal clothing size? Replacing a daily soda with water. Replace a peiece of cake with a piece of fruit. It's amazing, I promise. | I am very thankful for everyone's help here! I would like to get back down to 200 lbs. I am at 235 right now. I am actuall still wearing the same pant size that I was wearing when I weighed 200. I have moved up to a large in shirt size, and I'm hoping an XL is far away.
Do you really think that changing out a few things would help a bit? | | | | Full Member

| | | Also, try eating 5 small meals/day. Definitely eat breakfast and never eat anything after dinner (7ish). Try this and walk 1 hour/day....you might find an improvement. | | | | New Member | |

| | | Ok so either you are a very very sad girl or just totally bonkers
Firstly no men like a size 0 or even an 8 for that matter, stop looking at magazines that is not the ideal, learn to be happy within yourself, I am a size 14 and bloody proud, I have a lovely husband who adores my shape. As my mum says never change yourself to impress others always find someone who is happy with you the way you are! | | | | Ultra Member

I am actually a guy. I was being depressed about my own weight because I can not find a good girl, and I am not that out of shape, but there is some reason that I can't get a girlfriend. My friends and all there girlfriends say that I am the nicest guy in the world, so it is not that. I am not going to become bulimic. With all the help here, I realize that would be a really serious problem!

Adam,
It may not be the weight that is at issue with you not getting a girlfriend. Maybe personality. How old are you? | | | | Ultra Member

I think and I am told that I have a great personality. I am not trying to sound conceided or anything, but I don't think my personality is the problem. I am 19 by the way. I know that is young, but you would be surprised if you met me. I am very mature for my age.
