Re: I gain weight and loose my life

Looks like you need some help.
The problem with being too many kilo's overweight is that this one icecream is not going to make any noticable difference any more.
If you have trouble not eating Atkins diet may be a useful tool. Although many doctors have complained that it is not healthy, recent research suggests that fatty acid and cholesterol levels in the blood are more favorable when you are on the Atkins diet than when you are on a low fat diet.
It is important though to take a multivitamin, when you are on this diet and drink lots of water.

Here is what you start doing today:

a. give al your money, credit cards, other things to pay
with to your parents or a (trusted) friend, or send
them to your grandmother in Honolulu for the time
being and tell them not to give them back to you untill
the vacation is over.
b. give them your car keys too
c. go to bed early, if you always snack in the evening
going to bed 3 hours early can spare you up to a
thousand callories without any trouble.

Re: I gain weight and loose my life

d. walk! I know a girl that weighed 87 kilos (and she
was just 1.54 centimeters) after the birth of her baby.
she started walking with the child for hours and hours
a day. (3 hours and more) Make sure though, you are
wearing comfortable shoes, so you won't get blisters.
If you are overweight you will often feel selfconcious
running, if you are walking, that is a problem you don't
have. Take a friend along, if you have one. Walk all
the way to the swimming pool (if it is 10 kilometres
away, that is just fing) and take a swim, or
walk to your friends house or to a museum, anything
that doesn't remind you of food directly, but takes
your mind of things.
You can also cycle every other day to avoid sore feet.
Cycle to a friend that lives 40 miles away, spend the
night and cycle back the other day.
Not only will you loose weight (allthough it will take
about three weeks untill you start noticing the
difference) you will also get a more toned body in 2,5
months. The good thing is, that the muscles you
develop will burn callories, even if you sleep!
e. The day before you start (today that is), throw
anything that does not fit into your diet plan out
of the house, flush it down the toilet, or eat it.
Then weigh yourself in the evening, naked. This is
your starting weight. The next morning, weigh
yourself again, after you peed. You will see, that you
will have lost your first pound or so overnight. Make a
nice chart of your progress, and hang it somewhere,
you can see it. Weigh yourself every morning after
going to the toilet.
f. Tell all you friends today, that you will start your
regimen tomorrow and that they should not feed you,
not even if you beg for it.
g. Ask someone else to do your shopping for you (the
person that has your money), so you won't get into
temptation to buy anything that is not on your list.

Re: I gain weight and loose my life

h. make a list of what you want to achieve. In 2,5
months, you might not be able to loose 20 kgs, but
you will most certainly be able to loose 10 if you follow
your diet regimen. And if you make sports too, for at
least 5 days a week, you may be able to loose 20 kgs,
depending on what you do and how you do it.
i. The most important thing is: do not give up everything
if you have fallen into temptation and eat two bags of
potatoe chips. After you have eaten them, you will feel
guilty and sorry. That's life. Throw away, or give away
anything else you might have bought, while you are still
full and before you start thinking about tomorrow.
Also if you have left your regimen for a week, get back
to it as soon as you come to your senses! One week
or day is nothing in comparison with your two months.
g. Do weight training. If you can afford it and feel good
about it, go to a gym. If you feel uncomfortable, buy
dumbels or do knee bending and other exercises, you
can do without wheights.
h. Do not watch t.v. watch the sunset instead.
i. Manicure yourself, make your feet beatifull, do your
hair, have a face mask. If you have pimples on your
back or front, brush your skin every day, with a bath
brush, you will start noticing the difference in a week.
j. drink a glass of cold water before and after every meal.
k. Do not go out hungry if you will be in a situation with
access to food. With Atkins that is not so much of a
problem, because you do not have to count callories.

Important: the first three days of the (Atkins) diet, you will feel hungry constantly. Do something to take your mind of food and make sure you do not have acces to food or money to buy some. After these three days, the hunger will become more bearable and after two weeks you will feel hungry occasionally. You can do that. Think about how your fellow students will look at slim you. Go into town and think about what you would like to wear if you weighed 10 kgs less and about what you could wear if you weighed 20 kgs less.

If you do not seem to loose weight fast enough, do not get discouraged. Everyone has a phase in a diet in which you do not loose much weight. It can be a period up to two weeks. Remember that muscles weigh more than
fat. So it might just be that you are building muscle and the fat loss is there, but is not showing on the scales.
Think about how a bodybuilder looks at 100 kgs and
how a normal person would look at 100. It is all about where the fat lingers and how your body is formed. A normal woman should have fat on the hips and bottom, that is sexy.

Let me know how you did.
I can just say, if you have motivation you can.
I couldn't, untill I was to meet a very nice man, that had
last seen me 2 years and 10 kilo's ago. I lost 12 kgs in
2,5 months (5 kgs in the last 2 weeks). With weight training, cardio training and eating only salads. I just had to think about him.
I looked better than before and he proposed to me after just 4 days. Now we are married.
(and I am still slim, although 3 months pregnant)

I wish you all the best. You can achieve a lot in 2,5 months. Go for it and be more energetic and attractive.
Make sure also, that you have a plan and a back up plan after you have achieved the 20 kgs goal. You want to keep looking that great!

Re: I gain weight and loose my life

Hi this is not a sales pitch ! It is a very serious answer to your question. What people don't understand is that it hurts to exersize or walk alot when you weigh alot. I at one point tried for disability because it hurt just to sweep my floor, depression oh ya big time. I am 43 years old and for 25 years i have tried diet after diet with no help even the atkins but i dont eat the way they do or any of the others do. Check out my site and see what i found out on the web. I beleive in it that much that i made my own web site page. What does it hurt to look at it .

I hope you will try it and please add your comments to the board. Good luck to you. i know how you are feeling.

If you feel so miserable all the time you might be interested in something more radical...called..Gastric Banding

I belive this is the most serious approach to lose weight (after excercising and controlled nutrition intake)

Please contact your doctor if you are interested in such an operation
