Flavored Water

Is it unhealthy to drink too many of those 2 calorie flavored waters?

unhealthy? no. is it "better than water?"...probably not.

in fact, a lot of people recommend it...as the flavor encourages people to drink more water. I'm not so sure of the 2 calorie water you're talking about, but I'm assuming it's similar to many. Look at the nutritional values...as long as it's low in sodium (or none at all), low in carbs (or none at all), and virtually empty in the rest...and is at 2 calories, you should be fine.

I strongly discourage you drink powerade or gatorade heavily...as those are relatively heavy in calories...and drinking 2 - 3 bottles a day will add a decent amount to your calorie intake.

I'd prefer a nice, cool water over flavored water.

The reason is flavored water is tasty is because there's artificial sugar inside.

The best bet is to just drink regular still water because all this stuff with flavourings etc will make you less hydrated compared to regular still water and will make your more thirsty.
