These diet pills are not the safest. the Department of Health issued a statement that "Bangkok pills" (so-called because they are smuggled in from Thailand) have been analyzed by the department's Bureau of Food and Drugs and discovered to contain ephedrine, phentermine and fenfluramine.

Ephedrine is a prescription only drug that is banned for sale over-the-counter. Fenfluramine and phentermine are the infamous duo otherwise known as "fen-phen". In September 1997, the U.S. FDA banned fenfluramine (Pondimin) and dexfenfluramine (Redux or Adifax) due to reports of heart valve damage among users.

This is the worst pill on the "Illegal" market right now. Don't you rmember all the people who were permanently damaged or died from Fen-Phen? Just as Tickle said our country, thank God, is looking out for our well being, When the FDA bans a product, there's a good reason for it, heed what they say. This product was so dangerous the company I do research for was not even allowed to do testing on it! And I've not seen that happen ...ever! It is not worth the risk to your health!!! There are alot of other products that will help you and are safe, the only one I know has all the nutrients you need for daily requirements is Slim fast, but you have to follow the direction to the T, and eat the right 3rd meal, in the right portions and you need to exercise, that's the the key to any weight loss program. That's what we're trying to do, when both of us are trying to explain this drug has so many side effects that are negative, why not believe us? I have been in the Nutritional field for over 15 years, as a dietician, testing, anaylsis, guidance went to school for years and still do, to keep up on new products, ideas and ways of helping people. Fake or real, if it's banned here, why keep trying to get it? There are so many other ways to lose weight and keep it off, but it does take time, patience and the ability to change your lifestyle.
