i just need to know wat we need to get a lincense

I just got married and this is what we needed (I took this directly from our county's web site)

Checklist for Marriage License Applicants

What is our wedding date?
Where do we need to apply?
When do we need to apply?
Will we require the use of a translator for application or documents?
Do we have certified birth certificates?
Do we need Judgment of Divorce papers? Death Certificates?
Do we know, or have with us, our social security numbers?
Do we have sufficient proof of residence?
Do we have a current passport (for non-citizens only)?
Do we have the officiant's address and phone number?
Do we know the correct spelling of officiant’s name?
Do we know the correct spelling of our parent’s full names including mother’s maiden name?
Do we know what city, village or town we will be married in?
Do we have the $70 license fee? (Cash only)

In fact iti s common for the couple to ask the clerk for a list of pastors who will do weddings since they don't know who is going to do the service. Now states laws vary greatly,

Well for the state and county that I just got married in, that was all the info that was needed in order to obtain the marriage license. Also, they needed to know when the wedding was to take place because the license is only good for 30 days (which means that we needed to get married within 30 days of filing for the license)

Each county and state has different laws for this. It would be best to call the county and find out what you will need.
