    Engagement Speech for my best friend
    Hi Everyone,

    My best friend has asked me to say a speech at their engagement on Sat but I have no idea where to start or what to say! Please help me!

    Okay, your speech for the engagement party should be short and sweet. Basically regarding some funny anecdotes or stories of your time with the groom, throwing in some information about the two of them. If you are to be the Best Man, then you can thank the couple for that honour.

    Short and sweet is the key. Thank everyone for coming to the party and wish the couple well. Whomever is the "newcomer" to your life, welcome him or her into your family of friends.

    Make sure you say something nice about both... because my husbands best friend made a speech about their friendship nothing about the marriage or even acknowledging me... be careful
