low cost eye exams waco tx

I am in need of an eye exam and new glasses as my vision is getting increasingly worse. I have not had an exam in 5 years and having a very hard job doing my job. as I am handicapped and can only work part time I am fearful of loosing my only income. Is there anywhere I might get assistance with a near by optomatrist so that I may continue to be independant?

First of all, you are on an international site, so 'near by optometrist' doesnt mean much here. I dont know what to suggest other then googling 'free eye exams' as i just did and there were a lot of sites that directed to free exams.
